Mentzendorff, London
Mentzendorff may not exactly roll off the tongue but their products certainly do! As UK shippers of Bollinger Champagne and other fine wines, they had plenty to celebrate when moving to new offices at the Woolyard near London Bridge - a character space retaining many original features of this former distribution warehouse – including Victorian cast-iron columns.

What We Did
The space is very light and airy, so following a showroom tour we all agreed that it would be great to use transparent dividing screens between desks. At Interion we very much prefer laminated glass to acrylics, and there are surprisingly few providers who can provide laminated glass screens with discrete fixings.
Given that all power and data cabling would be fed from the ceiling down the columns, it was also important that the desk system had excellent cable management.
We selected Forma 5’s V30 system which met all these criteria while additionally offering height-adjusting options for a few very tall employees.
Paired with their excellent synchronous Eben Task Chair, this was virtually a single-supplier project.
The project included enclosed offices, soft seating areas and a stunning hot desk with copper legs.

Who We Worked With
Tamarind Interiors were designers and fitting-out contractors. Director Gary Lipscomb kindly suggested that Interion should be trusted to deliver this small but beautiful project, in partnership with the excellent Tamarind technical team.

What our client said:
“Buying office furniture is not something we do very often. David took time to understand the brief and put together the right number and quality of suppliers to see, to give us some good options that were right for our business. At the same time, he made this process enjoyable and painless, and was extremely professional and attentive from start to finish.”
